Main characteristic of the La Pavoni Lever Professional model, build starting with 1976, are:
- Larger capacity boiler up to 1.8, some are 1.6 and some rare are 1.8, which are a little wider.
- Pressure gauge added on the left of the sight glass retainer, to show boiler pressure readings.
- Pressure stats added under the base for more safety and easier pressure set up.
- Thermo-fuse added on the heating element also as safety measure, to protect the HE from over heating
