E61 group head full assembly with gaskets and screen filter is perfect for your ECM, Rocket, Isomac and a lot of other E61 machines out there.
Introduced by Faema circa 1961 on the E61 machine, the precursor to this solenoid operated version group head pictured here revolutionized the espresso industry by providing a thermally stable method of espresso preparation.
Today the E61 group or versions of it can be found on a lot of brands of machines and is still the best sold group head model worldwide.
The E61 group is actually a big and heavy piece of chromed brass.
When assembled and ready to place on a machine it weighs in around 9 lbs.
This weight mass contributes to its thermal stability, that offers you stable and liner temperatures before, during and after the extraction. The other feature that helps with temperature stability is the integrated thermo-siphon. This is a hydraulic process of water circulation that reduces hot spots within the group head.
E61 group head full assembly with gaskets and screen filter is shipped with all the gaskets inside, including brand new screen filter.
Usually for installation the user needs the back gasket and the two connectors.
Those can usually be found on the old machine also.
