La Pavoni Bottomless Portafilter Body Only for Pre Mill machines

La Pavoni Bottomless Portafilter Body Only for Pre Mill machines is suitable for all OLD GEN / Pre Mill machines (manufactured before year 2000).

The product is made by me, by cutting the bottom of a normal spouted PF.

There is no body only product available on the market to purchase for the OLD GEN machines and this is why I created this custom one, using my father in law CNC machine.

Body only is NOT delivered with a basket.

It does contain the handle connector and special clip or retainer INSIDE, that keeps the basket in place.

But La Pavoni Bottomless Portafilter Body Only for Pre Mill is shipped along with the filter spring / retaining clip that keeps the basket in place and also with a new handle M12 metal connector.

We tested and the body only product accepts the tallest 20 grams IMS baskets (so called triple baskets).

Our M12 handles available and compatible with this body only PF are:

OEM black plastic handle.

The M12 connector is also available with most used handles on the newer machines made from 90 till this day.

Check your current connector exterior diameter size before deciding if you need a new handle from us also or not.

Disclaimer & Recommendation

We strongly recommend that all our customers purchase a new shower screen holder gasket whenever ordering a new basket or portafilter from Coffee Sensor.

Over time, gaskets naturally harden or lose elasticity, which can affect how easily (or tightly) the portafilter fits into the group head. Replacing the gasket ensures proper sealing, optimal pressure, and consistent performance of your machine.

For Olympia Cremina machines or La Pavoni Pre-Millennium models, we also recommend purchasing one or two Teflon shims, to help properly accommodate either the original or any custom portafilter setup.

Regular maintenance and correct fitting parts will help extend your machine’s lifespan and improve overall espresso quality.
