Give the lever mechanism of your La Pavoni Esperto a pro upgrade with this complete stainless steel pin and screws kit.

Developed to improve durability, serviceability and the fit of the lever assembly.

The kit replaces the original lever hardware with stainless steel components and includes specially selected PTFE (Teflon) spacers to help protect the group head and reduce unwanted movement in the lever mechanism.

What is included?

The complete kit has:

• 1 × full stainless steel rear/back pin, featuring an integrated screwdriver channel for easier installation and removal
• 1 x stainless special back roller with bearings model
• 2 × stainless steel front lever screws, with screwdriver channels
• 8 × thin PTFE (Teflon) spacers
• 2 x stainless steel washers for front screws

Stainless steel lever hardware

The rear pin and front screws are manufactured from stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability in the hot environment.

The integrated screwdriver channels on the front screws make installation and future servicing / removal considerably easier compared with components that are difficult to hold or remove during maintenance.

PTFE spacers – protection and reduced lever play

The included PTFE spacers serve two important purposes:

1. Create a thin protective interface between the metal components of the lever mechanism and the group head

2. The spacers help compensate for small amounts of clearance in the lever mechanism, reducing unwanted lateral play and movement of the lever arm.

PTFE is particularly suitable for this application because of its low friction characteristics and excellent resistance to heat and chemicals.

Important information about the PTFE spacers

The PTFE spacers are intentionally very thin, allowing them to provide the necessary protection without significantly changing the geometry of the lever assembly.

Because of this, they should be considered wear components rather than permanent, lifetime parts.

They will gradually compress and/or wear with normal use.

The 8 spacers supplied in the kit are intended to provide a certain amount of service life and protection, but they will eventually require replacement.

This is normal and is part of their design. Their purpose is to sacrifice themselves over time to help protect the much more valuable group head and reduce lever play.
