Nachdem ich schon einige Modifikationen an meinen La Pavoni vorgenommen habe, u.a. Austausch der Dichtungen in der Brühgruppe, Duschwände (shower screen) Filterkörbe (filter basket), habe ich mich der Puck Erstellung angenommen. Einmal den Kaffeerührer und nun das Nivellierungswerkzeug. Letzteres hat für mich den größten Nutzen gebracht. Er ist leicht auf unterschiedliche Kaffeemengen einzustellen (9gr, 16 gr. 20gr) und einfach in der Handhabung. Nur mit ihm bekomme ich konstant gute Ergebnisse.

USThe Device Yo Didn’t Know You Need, But Do.
This product has made a tremendous improved difference in my espresso making. It takes many physical variables and guesswork out of puck prep and is an assest to anyone with a machine, especially a LA PAVONI. This is a luxury product that is impeccably machined, and I can’t recommend this, and COFFEE-SENSOR themselves enough. Thank you!

La Pavoni Lever 49.5mm Coffee Distributor or Leveler Tool with adjustable base is specially made for the OLD GEN / PRE MILL La Pavoni coffee machines.
The diameter of the base is 49.5 mm, so it’s the pro base type and not the standard 49 mm usually found on the market.
That means you will usually not see grind coffee on the interior walls of the basket and have the perfect flat wall of coffee before tamping.
The handle is pure walnut hard wood, with a full stainless interior, including stainless steel base.
Height is adjustable with a simple turn of the handle and counter turn of the adjusting ring. Ring is also stainless.
La Pavoni Lever 49.5mm Coffee Distributor or Leveler Tool with adjustable base is the tool that perfectly prepares by leveling the entire puck, and not just the center (extremities / edges including), creating the perfect wall in front of the hot water that comes from the boiler, thus helping you get the perfect flow and extraction.
