The look and feel of the leveler is excellent. I skip the tamper altogether and just use this leveler tool when prepping the puck. I wish the leveler tool had about 5mm more thread adjustment, because I am at the absolute end of the thread engagement and I wish I could pack the puck a little tighter or dial down my dose and still have good contact between the levered and grinds. Overall it’s beautiful and works well enough that it’s the only prep tool I use.

The handle is pure walnut hard wood, with an aluminium interior and stainless steel base.
Height is adjustable with simple turn of handle and counter turn of the adjusting handle.
