This tool is, my opinion, a "must-have" for all those who work with their Pavoni by themselves! Perfect fitting, and (...I've tried different...!) no other tool is possible because of the opening-wideness !

DKHaving trouble getting a tight fit
I ordered the tool, and while I can get the bolt very snug and tight, if I apply a little pressure to twist the steam valve open, the whole unit begins to loosen and pivot slightly. I don’t think I’m using excessive force when opening or closing the valve, but I can’t seem to get a truly firm fit. Inside the boiler, I’ve installed the copper washer and bolt, and on the outside, I’ve placed a white (plastic?) washer on the stem. As I mentioned, I can tighten it down nicely, but it still seems to work loose. I've done this on both of my Pavoni lever machines with similar results. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? By the way, although it’s a bit fiddly to fit inside the boiler, the tool itself works well. A tiny dab of the silicone grease helps hold the bolt and washer in place while fitting it up. A bonus: the tool is also just the right size for tightening and removing the pressure valve’s spot-nut. Glen
