Description
La Pavoni Lever Old Type Heating Element gasket code 362018.
Used on the older and thicker brass heating elements used mostly on 1st and 2nd gen machines.
La Pavoni Lever Old Type Heating Element gasket code 362018 is located right on the heating element(inside part).
For the newer steel heating elements, please use this O-ring gasket / seal – click to view or this red silicone O-ring gasket / seal.
Please check the 3rd picture from the product page to better understand what you have and what you really need to purchase.
This gasket is installed by first pushing the outside of the gasket and putting it in the special channel where it needs to sit.
The channel is located on the heating element.
ALWAYS remove the old gasket first. A lot of customers complained they cannot install this gasket but did not see the old gasket sitting there…
DISCLAIMER
All the gaskets sold on my website are tested personally on the exact machine it’s sold for.
So, I know for sure they are good and do work and are 100% compatible.
No gasket is custom made or resold BEFORE I do a personal test on my machines.
Before doing an installation, contact me directly if you feel you need guidance or info / details regarding the installation process.
Never contact me AFTER the damage is done saying that the gasket / gaskets were bad and demanding new gaskets or a refund.
Gaskets DO NOT DAMAGE by themselves and do not get cut just sitting around on the working bench, if you know what I mean.
A manufacturing fault of the gasket MUST BE DECLARED right upon receiving the product by you. Later on complaints will not be taken into consideration. I had customers claiming warranty after 1 year of purchase.
We had situations when a customer destroyed four identical gaskets and said they are bad.
After that, I sent a video with proof that it worked for me during my first try, at cold, with no preps or training before doing the video.
Even so I have sent the customer new gaskets to help out, and guess what, it seems the new ones were also bad 🙂
Take into consideration that sometimes, the tolerances during manufacturing process of the machines are what they are and even a 0.2mm deviation can make your life hard during installation.
IMHO, Coffee Sensor is not always to be blamed for small problems with the compatibility of the gaskets with some machines.
Always use grease to install any gasket from our website.
That helps them slide into position and should never get the product shredded or destroyed / pinched in any way.
Never use sharp edges like cutters, screw drivers or anything similar to help slide the gaskets into place.
That could cut the gasket and make it unusable.
I do not accept warranty claims due to bad manipulation / handling of the gaskets.
Purchase the gaskets only if you understood and read these instructions and disclaimer and accepted these terms and conditions.
