La Pavoni Lever Universal Brew Group Head Thermometer for any lever handle generation is my answer to other sensors created for the group head.

NOT compatible (for now) with the 4th gen Stradivari, which has a special shape and size.

Compatible with Olympia Cremina machines also (old or new).

In this lower description, you will have all needed info to install and use this product.

Aim for around 80 degrees C on the sensor and go up, depending on taste and type of coffee you use.

The offset between this reading and water temperature is around 10-12 degrees but this is just as reference and never as law for the best shot possible.

Compatible with all 3 generation of La Pavoni Lever machines and Olympia Cremina (both gens), including:

1. 1st gen Pre Mill / OLD GEN Europiccola with the bolt on group heads

2. 2nd gen Pre Mill / OLD GEN Europiccola and Professional with 50mm exterior size group heads

3. 3rd gen Post Mill / NEW GEN Europiccola and Professsional, with the larger 60mm exterior size group heads

People asked for this from me for a long time and this is my one way of creating such a product, solving other similar products problems, like:

1. Bad contact with the group head and totally off readings

2. Scratches produced on the group heads due to adaptation of a so called clamp, about which users reported to me personally, possible problems.

3. Possibility of installing and leaving the sensor on the right or left of the group head, a thing impossible for clamp type sensors.

Any LP user knows that the best position of such a sensor, on any La Pavoni, is usually on the sides of the group head and never directly under the lever arm.

Please check the second picture of the product to see it’s accuracy compared directly with the Esperto single temperature strip I also sell, that has direct and best contact with the group head.

La Pavoni Lever Universal Brew Group Head Thermometer for any lever handle generation has auto shut off function, can display both C or F and can be CALIBRATED in certain conditions and only if needed.

No special installation steps are needed.

Just make sure:

1. You remove the blue protection foil from the Aluminum adapter

2. You stretch the spring over the group head. Put one edge of the spring in the clip edge and stretch it all over the other side of the group head, going UNDER the group head neck

3. Attach the other end of the spring, to the second bend clip edge and that’s it. it ends on the special bend clip, located on the back of the sensor.
