La Pavoni brass naked bottomless portafilter 49 mm

La Pavoni naked bottomless Custom Brass portafilter 49 mm is as far as we know, the only pf made entirely of pure brass on the market.

Suitable for La Pavoni OLD GEN, Elektra Mcal or Olympia Cremina!

This makes it possible for our clients to match the looks of their COPPER AND BRASS version of LP with this naked.

The naked offers the user:

1. The chance to see any extraction errors that can occur during pull;
2. The usage of bigger and deeper baskets, that can hold a lot more ground coffee, like the special triple 20-22 grams baskets;
3. Possibility to match the looks with the special COPPER AND BRASS versions of La Pavoni.

La Pavoni naked portafilter as all our custom made products, CNC machined from brass, with a 49 mm diameter.

This portafilter looks best with our HANDMADE WOODEN AMERICAN WALNUT HANDLE – CLICK TO VIEW THE PRODUCT.

This portafilter is compatible with all Pre Millenium models of La Pavoni Europiccola (coffee machines manufactured prior to year 2000).

It also matches Professional La Pavoni’s, same Pre Mill generation.

The connector thread is M12 type, so please note this before making your purchase.

There are on the market some M11 thread handles also, so please be careful if this is the correct product for your plastic / wood PF handle.

We ship the naked portafilter with our custom made black plastic handle, as shown in the main picture of the product. We do no include automatically a basket.

We can also select no basket added, for the standard price.

We recommend our customers purchase at the same time a new filterholder gasket and at least one teflon spacer for filterholder gaskets.

Also we offer the retaining clip, so that the basket will not slip out easily while hitting the knock-box to remove the coffee puck.

Disclaimer – Pure Brass Parts and Natural Patina

Our pure brass polished parts are made from untreated, genuine brass. Over time, brass will naturally develop spots of oxidation and a so called patina. This is a normal and expected process, characteristic of authentic brass, and not a defect.

We intentionally do not apply coatings or platings to our brass parts. While coatings may initially prevent oxidation, they tend to develop visual defects over time that are more difficult to correct. In contrast, natural brass can easily be restored through simple manual polishing, allowing the part to regain its original shine whenever desired.

By purchasing brass parts from our store, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Natural oxidation and patina will occur with use and time.

• This change in appearance is part of the charm of genuine brass.

• Maintenance through occasional polishing is both possible and recommended.

If you prefer parts that do not change in appearance, please note that pure brass may not be suitable for your expectations.

Disclaimer & Recommendation when purchasing a new portafilter or basket for your coffee machine

We strongly recommend that all our customers purchase a new shower screen holder gasket whenever ordering a new basket or portafilter from Coffee Sensor.

Over time, gaskets naturally harden or lose elasticity, which can affect how easily (or tightly) the portafilter fits into the group head. Replacing the gasket ensures proper sealing, optimal pressure, and consistent performance of your machine.

For Olympia Cremina machines or La Pavoni Pre-Millennium models, we also recommend purchasing one or two Teflon shims, to help properly accommodate either the original or any custom portafilter setup.

Regular maintenance and correct fitting parts will help extend your machine’s lifespan and improve overall espresso quality.
