Second coffee puck lower shower screen or contact screen for La Pavoni Post Mill is placed directly on the coffee puck to reduce channeling or other specific problems that can occure during coffee extraction.

Used on NEW GEN / POST MILL / NEW BIG GROUP La Pavoni lever machines.

Second coffee puck lower shower screen or contact screen for La Pavoni Post Mill is made of single layer stainless steel 316 sheet.

Thickness: 0.2mm.

Some enthusiasts use this even WITHOUT the shower screen filter on their machines.

No significant changes were observed during use of the contact screen in our tests, regarding temperature.

But we can assure you the flow was perfect and the channeling (if present before) was gone.

Attention: all our second screens are designed to sit above the coffee puck and not under. The size each mesh has is already towards the maximum possible for most baskets available on the market for the coffee machine model / type specified on each the product page. Second screens can sit differently in baskets, depending on coffee grind setting, volume of coffee, tamping and basket shape. In some baskets, the second screen could sit perfectly while in others it’s possible that it will be too large in diameter or maybe a little small then needed.
