By purchasing a refurbished coffee machine from Coffee Sensor, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Warranty Coverage

   • Warranty applies only to the brand-new parts installed on the machine during refurbishment.

   • Warranty does not cover used parts, consumables such as gaskets, washers, seals, or any other wear-and-tear components.

2. Shipping Terms

   • Customers must select the correct shipping option at checkout named: “DHL Ec. or DHL Ex. (specially created in order to ship the coffee machines)”.

   • Due to high DHL shipping costs, in case of an issue we will provide replacement parts so the machine can be repaired locally, rather than requesting a return shipment.

3. Proof of Functionality

   • Before shipment, we provide photos and videos to the customer’s email address showing that the machine has been tested, including leak testing.

   • In case this is not happening prior to the shipment, please contact us and ask for the pics and videos.

   • Used or refurbished machines have a history behind — they’ve been owned and used by other users, sometimes for decades. Please adjust your expectations accordingly when purchasing such machines, especially in terms of cosmetic appearance. Light scratches, small bumps, or minor marks are normal and reflect the machine’s age and history. These are not considered defects. When a machine has above-average cosmetic wear or signs, this is always mentioned in its product description. If you are seeking an almost new or visually pristine unit, we strongly recommend requesting detailed photos and videos before you make the purchase. Please note that cosmetic complaints made after receiving the machine will not be accepted, as these aspects are inherent to the nature of used equipment.

   
   

4. Important Information About Included Accessories

   All machines are delivered with the basic accessory set, as shown in the product page pictures. Unless clearly specified otherwise, the included accessories typically consist of only the portafilter.

   The optional accessories list — available separately — may include items such as:

   • Tamper

   • Leveler

   • WDT tool

   • Puck screen

   • Funnel

   • And other add-ons

   Please note that only a few special offers have included additional accessories, and these cases are always explicitly mentioned in the product description.

   If you are unsure or need confirmation about what is included, please contact us before placing your order. This ensures full clarity regarding your purchase.

5. Support & After-Sales Service

   • We offer dedicated support after the sale to help customers use the machine properly—something most sellers do not provide.

   • We continue to provide advice and guidance for future servicing, maintenance, and repairs, and can supply products and parts when needed.

6. Pricing & VAT

   • All listed prices are final and ex-VAT. Also, the price, for US customers especially, DOES NOT include the new introduced tariffs.

   • For EU customers, the applicable VAT fee will be requested after the purchase. We usually charge only half of the local VAT, in order to help the situation and to keep the prices competitive. The entire amount of the VAT goes to the local government and is not retained or help by us in anyway.

7. Returns & Refunds

   • Returns are not accepted for refurbished / used or custom made machines.

   • This applies especially to custom-made machines, which cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances, since they were build and created exactly with the customer’s specs and desire.

8. Damaged Shipments

   • If a machine arrives damaged, the customer must provide photos and videos immediately, as proof.

   • In such cases, we will supply the necessary parts so the machine can be repaired locally. If the return shipment has a decent value, we will return the machine here and repair it ourselves and reship. We do not accept refund requests after a machine gets back to us for a repair.
