My main motivation for buying this grate was aesthetic- it’s definitely a cooler (I’d say more mod-Italian) look than the OEM plastic that came with mine. Feels nicer too. The chrome is a pretty close color-tone match for the machine. I’d still like a tray that fees sturdier. It slides around a bit less now, but I’m not sure how Coffee Sensor could address that design issue. Only 4 stars because the fit in the tray is a bit tight. You have to bend the grate slightly to pop it out. I’m mostly leaving it in place for daily washing. When I get a chance, I might go back and shave some of the corners of the plastic tray for a better fit. Thanks Coffee Sensor! I’m so impressed with your whole operation!

Great visual upgrade to my Europiccola. The fit into the plastic drip tray is perfect. I wish the bottom side had been finished to the same degree of quality as the top but otherwise a very worthy upgrade.
