La Pavoni Europiccola Pre Mill or Olympia Cremina tamper 49.5 mm base is a full alu tamper with thick chrome plating, CNC machined, with a professional base diameter of 49.5 mm, for best tamping experience.

The entire body is made of food safe Alu with thick chrome on the surface.

Has a nice weight feeling and great quality of the plating.

The product is compatible with La Pavoni Europiccola and Professional Pre-Mill models (coffee machines manufactured before year 2000 – 50 mm diameter group head and 49mm baskets) or Olympia Cremina.

Since it has the Pro diameter of 49.5 mm, the tamping will cover more surface of the coffee puck and so will offer a much nicer extraction and flow of the coffee during extraction.

The base is detachable from the handle.

This 49.5mm tamper is designed to ensure a tight fit in the IMS competition baskets but not only.

This keeps the tamper in the much needed perfect vertical position, which will minimise channelling and leave a perfectly level flat coffee puck.
