Description
Since one of the biggest problems during coffee extraction is the high temperature of the group head or of the machine in general, Coffee Sensor offers the La Pavoni Lever Grouphead Esperto Single Temperature Strip 75-105°c, to be used as reference for decrease or increase machine and water temperature.
They will help you know the temperature of the group head when idle or when extracting or brewing specialty coffees or any type of coffee in general.
The strip will turn green once a certain temperature is reached.
They have a very good and strong adhesive on the back, so they will stay glued even on Stainless Steel or Chrome.
The liquid crystal technology created this special thermo-label which you can stick on your coffee machine group head.
It has liquid crystal sensors or cells inside which will turn green and doing so, will indicate to the user the most accurate temperature of the metal / surface on which they were glued.
The ideal temperature during an extraction is usually 85ºC, according to our special group research and offset calculations between GH and water temperatures.
It’s best to ask your coffee roaster which temperature is indicated to extract certain coffee origins.
Some origins or blends burn at 88-89ºC and some are best at higher temperatures, like 93-93ºC.
Material: ABS with special liquid crystal sensors or cells inside.
Self Adhesive back surface which helps the strip to attache to most surfaces, even at high angle.
Strip dimension : 43 x 11 mm.
The temperature range has an increment of 5°C and is as follows:
